Description
Portrait done for a fellow artist, Linda Ota. Originally, this was gonna be your standard portrait, but I decided to be more brave and adapt a more Fantasy style theme. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the results.

Beautiful colors and nice idea to paint her as a sea nymph.

Wallace: Good point regarding the hair; I was very careful not to overdetail or oversharpen anything, as I was going for more of a softer look with this piece.
vanettda: Very good points; The lightning was definitely challenging; I wanted to bring attention towards the figure, so I was careful not to do anything overly dynamic.
**Also, to be clear, this is NOT a portrait of Kayness (ironically, I'm painting her next
